Security Guard 8 Hour Initial Course (Pre Employment)

Eight hour course required by New York State to obtain a security guard registration card. Held in 1- 8 hour session on 7/26

This is an eight hour course required by New York State as the first step in obtaining a security guard registration card. The course gives a general overview of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard, including legal powers and limitations, how to handle emergency situations, access control, and ethics and conduct. The cost to enroll is $75. All students must attend all eight hours of training, and pass an exam to complete the course successfully.

Please note the following:

• You are registered upon our receipt of your application; we do not send registration confirmation.

• You must be pre-registered for a class, we do not accept walk-ins.

• No certificates will be issued if payment has not been received prior to class date. Instructor will NOT

accept payment

• To avoid financial responsibility, you must drop the class prior to the start of class. Failure to attend class

does not negate financial responsibility.

• Security Guard Course Refund Policy: Students will receive 100% refund if course is dropped prior to

start.
