ABOUT THE "SECURING SUPPORT" WORKSHOP

A 101 workshop that provides newcomers with a foundational understanding of the grant writing process. Through step-by-step guidance, participants will learn to navigate funding opportunities, decode application requirements, and gain confidence in initiating their grant writing endeavors. This introductory course offers practical insights to demystify grant writing and kickstart your journey towards securing support for your creative projects, with an emphasis in live performance (though all artistic disciplines are welcome to attend!).

  • Participants will be immersed in Detour's approach to devised theater, experiential work, and drag artistry, with a focus on business, administration and producing;
  • Each workshop is facilitated by Detour collaborators, offering unique vantage points into the company's creative process;
