We are very pleased to announce that Graves Library's Secret Gardens of Kennebunkport will be held again on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (rain or shine). Six homeowners have agreed to open their private gardens for this one day only to help raise money for the Library. Tickets are $40 each and they can be purchased in advance online via Eventbrite or at the Library at 18 Maine Street, Kennebunkport. On the day of the event, ticketholders should begin at Kennebunkport Consolidated School at 25 School Street to pick up their map. "Day-of" tickets will only be available for sale at Consolidated School.
A detailed map will be provided on the day of the tours to all ticket holders to reveal the secret locations of the six participating properties. Visitors will be treated to a wide variety of garden styles and plant types amid lovely natural settings hidden from view behind stone walls, seaside cottages, and privacy hedges. Volunteers at each garden will direct you to parking spots and answer questions about the tour.
This year, participants will especially appreciate the option to stop at the Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library, 18 Maine Street. We will have a pop-up food truck (Texas Grace), bathrooms, and garden boutique. We hope you will stop by for lunch and shopping provided by local vendors.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. There are two places to take a break. While you are enjoying great food from Texas Grace and shopping at the garden boutique, you are welcome to use the Graves Library restrooms. Other facilities are located behind Alisson's Restaurant in Dock Square.
Please wear comfortable shoes as some of the gardens will have slopes and garden terrain.
This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given. Please dress according to the current weather conditions.
Some of the homeowners are kind enough to offer a refreshment but best to plan ahead and have a water bottle in your car.
