Ruth has all the elements of a love story. Tragedy. Loss. Despair. Hope. Triumph. Loyalty. Romance. But it’s more than just a love story. It’s a epic story within a story. It’s a story not just about Ruth, but about all of us and a world that’s in need of redemption. And in the end, David can’t wait to show you how your story is a part of this story. In 1999, Kenny and Kelly Hibbard moved to Charlotte to start a church and live out a God given dream. They were enthusiastically joined by three other young couples who also believed in the vision that only God could have given and only God could accomplish – to launch a church in the south Charlotte area that specifically pursued people who had given up on the religion of their childhood or had never had an interest in God or church.

Many years have now passed since that first Sunday, January 16, 1999. In our first decade, we relocated several times throughout the south Charlotte area. However, through the grace of God and the hard work of His people, we now enjoy a beautiful building on a large thriving campus in Matthews, NC. Today, Team Church is a growing, dynamic and relational fellowship that continues to reach people for Christ and lead them to full devotion in Him.
