Join us on Thursday, May 8 from 6pm - 8pm for an opportunity to cuss and discuss all things agility!
Agile HTX is an informal group of agile practitioners from across the Houston area. Following the Lean Beers (er...coffee) format, we work through diverse topics around agility, scrum, kanban, and everything in between. Whether you're an agile pro, agility-curious, or interested in networking, we're open to all and we always learn something from one another.
The first 30 minutes are spent networking and setting the stage for the Lean Coffee format. Post-its (because...of course) for specific topics are available for you to fill out. Propose as many as you'd like. We all take some time to dot vote, then we launch into the discussions.
Each topic is given 5 minutes. At the end of the timebox, we can choose to extend the discussion or move to the next topic.
We'll have pizza available, but we can accommodate dietary restrictions if you let us know in your RSVP. We'll also have plenty of soda, water, and coffee available in addition to beer!
Frequently asked questions
C'mon in and join! We all live and work in and around Houston. The traffic struggle is REAL.
There are plenty of fizzy waters, caffeine-free sodas, and bottled water available. In fact, one of our contacts at Improving takes pride in their AMAZING selection of cold beverages!
There is no "level" or expectation of expertise to join in the discussion. Part of why we gather is for all of us to ask questions and learn from one another! Ask questions. Ask all the questions! And if you don't feel comfortable asking in the group, pull one of us aside for a 1:1.
