Second Nature: Exploring the Work
A thoughtful conversation surrounding the ideas and themes featuring artists Annette Goodfriend, Ruth Tabancay and Esther Traugot.
Join us for Second Nature: Exploring the Work, a thoughtful conversation surrounding the ideas, processes, and themes at the heart of Second Nature. Featuring exhibiting artists Annette Goodfriend, Ruth Tabancay, and Esther Traugot, this special program offers audiences a deeper look into the artistic practices that shape the exhibition and the ways each artist engages with themes of environment, transformation, observation, and our evolving relationship with the natural world.
Moderated by curator and arts advocate Andi Campognone, the conversation will explore how these artists approach material, concept, and process, while offering insight into the personal and philosophical questions that inform their work. Through dialogue and reflection, the program will highlight the unique intersections between artistic practice, ecological awareness, and the ways art can deepen our understanding of the world around us.
This engaging discussion provides a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artists as they reflect on their work in Second Nature, offering audiences a richer and more intimate experience of the exhibition.
