Second Annual Notes for Hope

The Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation’s mission is to raise mental health awareness though advocacy, education, and music in the Greater New Orleans area and across the Gulf South. Through our recent endeavors, we have donated to local organizations such as the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the New Orleans Musicians’ Assistance Foundation, and the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. By hosting fun and lively events in keeping with the traditional flair of the New Orleans atmosphere, we are able to unify the members of our community for a good and often underrepresented cause.

The Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation Nonprofit Corporation

The Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation will host its second annual Notes for Hope at NOLA Brewery featuring live music by Honey Island Swamp Band, Darcy Malone & the Tangle, Motel Radio, and Amanda Ducorbier. There will be more than twenty locally brewed beers on tap as well as delicious festival food favorites for your enjoyment. The event will also feature a vendors marketplace with many local artists, artisans, and craftsmen.  ‘Notes for Hope’ is a community effort to raise awareness and funding for the foundation’s mission and its Music for the Mind Campaign.
