Sunday afternoon and evening there will be opening remarks, a feast and a panel of speakers, while Monday is a full day with special guest Michael Fairbanks, White Earth Tribal Chair, as well as a keynote speech by Aimee Craft, an Ojibwe lawyer, Metis, and professor of Indigenous rights and Treaty Law. There will also be panel discussions with local white Earth legal professionals and guests from other Tribes to discuss the implementation and effect of instituting natural law into existing legal frameworks. All meals will be provided. The conference is free for students and Indigenous relatives, there is a sliding scale option for all others, as well as the opportunity to donate to the continued work of the Niibi Center.
