Where do I check in?

Is registration required?

Yes, you won't be able to enter most if not all of our venues without a wristband. SantaCon staff and security will be checking at most if not all entrances.

Question 3

Sign up? Registration? Tickets? Check in? Wristbands? I'm confused.

Accepted Answer

Purchase online, then show up. Or just show up, and pay full price. We have $10,000+ in event costs and hope to raise $10,000+ for Boys & Girls Clubs of King County. Don't confuse us with "Bad Santa" events or nationwide scammers!

Question 4

Can I purchase from your staff? Pay with cash or Venmo?

Eventbrite only, sorry! No cash. Please report anyone taking cash for entry to Seattle SantaCon by messaging our Facebook page or emailing seattlesantas@gmail.com.

Can I check in for friends? Can they check in for me? are tickets transferable?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can collect wristbands for friends and tickets are transferable using Eventbrite (see your confirmation email for links). Tickets are not transferable between dates however.

Am I guaranteed entry everywhere?

Not exactly. If a venue is full and other Santas aren't leaving, you're going to be stuck in line. Try another venue! The good news is we have lots of them!

What are the details on drink specials?

See the event description for all the details. These are subject to availability, and there may or may not be substitutions at the venue's discretion.

Question 8

Can I bring fake weapons, wear masks, or full body costumes? Will you accept temporary or old IDs?

We can't guarantee anything here. This is up to security at each venue.

Question 9

Do I have to follow the laws?

Accepted Answer

Of course, silly Santa! No drinking on public streets or smoking in public parks. Follow traffic laws and authority figures. Don't mess with anyone, and especially don't mess with Santa. If you see something say something. Disrespectful Santas aren't welcome.

Do I have to wear a costume?

You ought to dress festively. A Santa hat is the bare minimum

Do I have to wear a Santa suit or Christmas themed costume?

Accepted Answer

Any holiday costume works great for SantaCon. Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa... all holiday outfits are welcome! You might even see an Easter Bunny!

Are you looking for volunteers?

Always! Santa herders, people to run games & activities, street performers & musicians, photographers, videographers, graphic and web designers, promoters, TikTok creators... message Seattle SantaCon on Facebook or seattlesantas@gmail.com and tell us what you can do! Volunteers get free tickets.
