Seaport Summer Kickoff: Memorial Day Weekend

Start summer on a high note this Memorial Day Weekend. Experience three days of action-filled happenings to celebrate the official start of the sunshine season. Enjoy a 6-hour day party of tropical dance vibes at Kokos at Pearl Alley, and tons of incredible seafood bites and iconic drinks all day throughout the various restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.

Next: Discover hidden gems at the Hester Street Fair Outdoor Market, soak in the ambiance and (more!) live music throughout the neighborhood, quench your thirst at The Bar at Lawn Club or take to the water and sail the East River with the Seaport Museum and NY’s most iconic views.

Summer Bites & Drinks

Oysters. Ceviche. Shrimp tacos and fish and chips. Savor the signature flavors of summer all Memorial Day weekend long, with delicious food and drinks from the Seaport’s best restaurants. The Fulton, Malibu Farm, Carne Mare, Tin Building by Jean-Georges, Lawn Club, and Kokos at Pearl Alley are all participating—along with local favorites like SUteishi, Cobble Fish, and Fresh Salt.

Kokos' Tropical Dance Party

May 25 | 12pm–6pm | Kokos at Pearl Alley | Free

Take a trip to the tropics right here at Kokos at Pearl Alley. Dive into the festivities from 12 noon on Saturday with a live Tropical Steel Band performance, followed by a DJ set featuring tropical house starting at 2pm. From 4pm, the soundtrack switches to reggae and Afro Beats. RSVP now for free.

The Fulton's Sunset Soirée

Outdoor Live Performances

Seafood. Live music and outdoor fun. Enjoy the al fresco season with fresh oysters and a live Swing and Brass Band at The Outdoor Bar at Tin Building on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 from 5-9pm.

Then continue the neighborhood festivities on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, as we pay tribute to our servicemen and women with live music throughout the neighborhood. Catch a Brass Band as they make their way from the Outdoor Bar at Tin Building to Malibu Farm and on to Lawn Club.
