About this event

Calling all 5th-8th graders!!!

As an integrated STEM education program partnership with RoboNation, campers will be guided through a real-world engineering and design project centered around building an underwater ROV. The program uses hands-on methods to equip students with the resources needed to learn basic science and engineering concepts like tool safety, technical applications, problem-solving, and teamworking skills. Upon build completion of the SeaPerch ROV's, students will be challenged to compete in various underwater obstacles with their robots.

All GNO STEM camps are led by certified teachers and supported by GNO STEM staff and counselors. Our counselors are robotics team members from various local high schools. In addition, 'Lunch and Learn' guests are brought to camp during the week. These guests include various STEM industry partners bringing their expertise to life during a STEM presentation and hands-on activity. GNO STEM strives to introduce students to exciting hands-on activities and relevant industry professionals to broaden their learning experience as it pertains to STEM education and possibilities.
