Sean Cunningham is a Nashville based Americana Singer/Songwriter with rockstar roots! Born and raised in Louisville, KY to a musical family, Sean’s career has taken him all over the globe, working with such artists as Gerry Beckley (America), Robert Lamm (Chicago), The Stereophonics, Chevelle, Silverchair, Neil Finn, Tommy Emmanuel and many others. At age 20 Sean was signed to Warner Music as the frontman of New Zealand rock band ATLAS, quickly topping the charts with their song “Crawl” which would go on to be the longest running #1 single in New Zealand history! After being nominated for an Australian MTV Music Video award in 2008 and going on to win Best New Artist at the NZ Music Awards, ATLAS finally disbanded. Relocating to Nashville, TN in 2011 Sean started the 70’s rock inspired band The Cunning but after years of touring decided to embark on his very first solo venture in 2021. With a sound comparable to Ryan Adams, David Grey, and The Lumineers, Sean is definitely one of Nashville’s top artists to watch out for!
