Yes, payment plans and group rates are available.

What are the waves like?

Jamaica is ideal for beginner to advanced surfers. With mostly reef and point breaks you can progress quickly. The year-round warm waters of 80-85°F or 26-29°C means we never wear wetsuits. However, tropical booties or aqua shoes are recommended for spots with cobblestone bottom.

What currency is used in Jamaica?

The local currency is Jamaican Dollars (JMD). $1USD is about $154JMD. You can get JMD at the ATM/ABM or we can arrange a trip to the money exchange to change major currencies. We are currently transitioning from paper notes to polymer notes, so it is normal to see both types of notes in circulation.

What airport should I fly into?

Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) is a quick 10-minute drive from the camp. You will want to aim to arrive on July 22 and depart on July 28. Transfers from this airport are included in your package.

Is there an alternative airport?

Sangster International Airport (MBJ) is about 3 hours away driving. If you fly here you will need to take the Knutsford Express to Kingston and then a taxi to the camp. You will need to allow for additional time for travel to avoid missed flights.

Where will I stay?

Jamnesia provides basic shared rooms. The idea is to make your stay as economical as possible so you can enjoy more of what Jamaica has to offer. Rooms sleep 2-4 persons and bathrooms are shared.

Will there be WiFi access?

WiFi is available in the common areas and rooms. There is no WiFi on the beach.
