XLE presents its second themed party of San Diego Comic Con 2022: The Burton Bash, A Party for the Recently Deceased. Journey out of the Gaslamp into a Burtonesque world filled with wonder, whimsy, weird, and well, dead. At the Sugar Factory Theater Box venue, you will literally begin the night by stepping into a whimsical world - but something darker and stranger waits beyond…

A themed atmosphere and photo ops to…die…for
Familiar Burton characters will guide you through your journey, join hosts ChadHatter and Connor Breen as Mad Hatter and Penguin!
Disneyworld darling DJ Elliot will headline the evening’s entertainment, thrilling all with his uniquely awesome takes on geek beats.
Costume + Cos-Makeup Contest: with awesome prizes from Ve Neill’s Legends Makeup Academy
**UPDATES (7/12):
- String Quartet performances of iconic Burtonverse and Danny Elfman music
- Multisensory experience of Burton’s aesthetic, including projection mapping, oversized LED props, photo ops of iconic settings, costume displays, and more.
- Cirque-style stiltwalker performance
- Complimentary airbrush tattoos 9p-12p
- Red Carpet for VIP celeb guest list
-Our partner, ReelwUrld, the 1st social film studio, is giving out a $10K development & production deal during San Diego Comic Con week at our special events. Join us and you could star as an original character that you create in your own origin story episode within our first show produced with a community, Justice For Hire. Come to the party dressed in an original hero design with a backstory to enter.
VIP ROOFTOP LOUNGE, courtesy of IP3, at $100 per ticket. The rooftop will be themed as we're doing with the main floor, will feature a private bar, private cirque performances, an exclusive photo op and will be where our media/celeb guests will hang out after they've experienced the main room. The rooftop is also open air for those with any spacing concerns.
10 VIP TABLES are available for reserve in the main room. The tables are a $500 reserve, and when you fill it with your friends next Friday you'll have a $500 minimum spend at the table to hit (this is standard nightlife), which is about 2 bottles.
Beverage: Imbibe in delicious themed drinks including Wonka’s alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets!
Food: Satisfy your post-con cravings with decadent and tasty fare from Sugar Factory’s American Brasserie menu

VE NEILL, Academy Award winning makeup artist behind Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Mrs. Doubtfire, Pirates of The Caribbean, and more, will be providing some fantastic prizes for our favorite looks on behalf of her LEGENDS MAKEUP ACADEMY. Ve is literally giving you HER makeup kits! So bring your best Burton-universe cosplay and/or makeup look - this is a unique prize you can’t beat.
DRESS CODE: There is no formal dress code, but we challenge you to embrace your inner Burton and style out your nightlife look with some dark whimsy. Let your inner creativity out and become part of the fun!
