Overview

A free recurring space for people with SDAM to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

You may know that you have Severely Deficient Autobiographical Memory, but still rarely have the opportunity to talk with others who experience the world in a similar way.

The SDAM Support Group is a free, recurring online space for people with SDAM to connect, share experiences, ask questions, and support one another. Conversations may include memory, identity, relationships, imagination, emotional experiences, coping strategies, and the everyday practical effects of not being able to voluntarily re-experience personal memories.

The floor is open for honest conversation. No one is required to perform, explain, or have the “right” experience. Just an opportunity to meet others, talk honestly, and listen to people who understand.

This is a peer-support and discussion group, not therapy, medical treatment, or professional advice. Participants are encouraged to share only what they feel comfortable sharing.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM Pacific Time on Zoom. Sessions run 90 minutes. Free to join.

A suggested donation of $10 helps keep the group going. If you’d like to contribute, you can donate here:
