Day 1 (2.5 hours)


Work with clay to create slabs. Cut templates for your bust. Utilize templates to cut slabs. Assemble the bust. Clean up and wrap slabs and bust with plastic.

Day 2 (3 Hours):


Assemble the head. Take measurements/dimensions of the face. Assemble the neck. Place the head on the bust. Clean up and wrap the sculpture with plastic.

Day 3 (3.5 Hours):


Complete the assembly of the head and bust. Clean up the sculpture with cloth and brushes. Apply a layer of sieved slip for a smooth finish. Employ any desired technique. Prepare the piece for drying...

Embark on an enchanting journey into the art of sculpting as you craft a woman’s bust using slabs. This workshop goes beyond the basics, delving into head and facial studies, while exploring the essential techniques required for constructing a captivating bust. Throughout the class, I will be providing detailed demonstrations for each step, empowering you to work on your own style and artistic expression.
Please note that this is a fast-paced class, tailored for artists who already possess some experience working with clay. The accelerated pace allows us to cover a comprehensive range of skills and intricacies involved in sculpting a woman's bust. Whether you're looking to enhance your existing sculpting abilities or seeking a new challenge, this workshop provides a unique opportunity to elevate your artistic practice. Join us in this immersive experience, where creativity and skill converge to bring forth a remarkable work of art. I will bee providing 2 images for you to select one.
Workshop Schedule: 3 days (3 hours/day - 9 hours Total /with instructor
+ 2 extra hour to finish up/without instructor.
