2024 Theme

With continued overwhelming issues related to male survivors of trauma and violence, this year’s theme will focus on Community Leadership Addressing Conflict Strategies. SCRIPT is bringing awareness to the complex issues surrounding survivors of violence and trauma while also providing community resources to help heal those deep, far-reaching wounds. These resources include leadership from existing programs, as well as individual community intervention volunteers and other entities whose goal is to build a robust network of people dedicated to stopping violence and trauma. Through this collaboration, we can develop a strong foundation for strategy to effect community change and end the stigma related to diverse populations. Collaboration can exist among many segments of our community: law enforcement, social services, schools, clergy, family, friends, organizational members, and mission-oriented individuals. This year at SCRIPT, our goal is to facilitate an interactive discussion among these diverse sectors of our society regarding the issues we face as a community and lead the way to create healthy conflict resolution. We plan to explore this topic by asking our presenters and community partners to lead conversations related to conflict-resolution strategies and social change. We hope to encourage others to work together to make a difference.
