One of a series of 11 conversations to envision scribing as a social and “healing" art.

Each conversation of the “Scribing Applied to…” series will create space for dialogue across communities of visual and facilitative practice. Many "scribes" (those drawing in real time for groups) work alone. Yet we are exposed to incredible content. This is an opportunity to bring our knowledge and inquiries together and bridge to other disciplines.T he December session will focus on Trauma &amp; Healing. Across all the conversations, we will continue exploring our role as practitioners (artists, facilitators, coaches, leaders, etc) while weaving individual insights. Previous session have included the topics of: climate change, education, de-colonization (with special guest Wella Thurlow), integration, AI (<a href="https://medium.com/presencing-institute-blog/ai-and-scribing-an-infinite-loop-c487111f4de7" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">see a blog post on the conversation here</a>), social arts, intergenerational learning, narratives (with special guests Christopher Fuller and Janis Pryor, community, and inequity.

<h2>Logistics</h2>The final conversation will take place as one integrative call on Thursday, December 7 from 3:00-4:00pm EST (<a href="https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20231207T200000&amp;p1=43" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">check your time here</a>) hosted by <a href="https://lark-collective.com/about/kelvy/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kelvy Bird</a> and <a href="https://lark-collective.com/about/emma/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Emma Dulski</a>.You can join each session individually, or join the series - where you would have access to all recorded videos from previous topics/calls. In both cases, your ticket covers participation for you AND one guest with whom you would like to share the experience. For those opting for the series, you can invite a different person each month. Each conversation will include/provide:<ul><li>Small and large group spaces</li><li>An opportunity to scribe for those wanting practice</li><li>An online community space to continue the conversation</li></ul>Technical Requirements: You will need video or audio access to Zoom.

<h2>Fee to Participate</h2>Please choose a rate in accordance with your country and the strength of its economy, and based on your overall financial situation. Should either rate not be feasible, or data costs high, please reach out.<ul><li>Single Session One: $40 (Your registration helps others participate.)</li><li>Single Session Two: $20</li><li>Series One: $160 Access to all 11 sessions (For those in countries with strong economies/currencies, with a steady personal or professional financial situation. Your registration helps others to participate.)</li><li>Series Two: $80 Access to all 11 sessions (For those in countries with moderate economies/currencies, who experience an uncertain personal or professional financial situation.)</li><li>Scholarship on Request: Email emma(at)kelvybird.com</li></ul>Cancellation Policy: There will not be a refund for any cancellations.
