<h2>Join Us for Screenagers: Elementary Edition!</h2><p><br></p><p>Screenagers: Elementary Edition dives into the ups and downs of digital life and offers tips to help balance technology with fun, creativity, and learning.</p><p>Doors open at 5:45PM, the film will show from 6-7PM, film will be followed by a 30-minute Q&amp;A panel featuring:</p><ul><li>Dr. Rachel Hanebutt, developmental and community psychologist at Georgetown University, who works with caregivers and youth to build healthier relationships with digital technology and social media</li><li>Peng Wu, Janney Elementary parent and attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice focusing on cases involving children targeted on social media</li><li>Suzanne Smalley, parent of three, advocate of the Wait Until 8th initiative at Janney Elementary, and a parent reflecting on early smartphone use</li><li>Patrick Rottman, Assistant Principal (8th Grade) at Deal Middle School</li></ul><p>Thank you to the parent associations at Hearst, Lafayette, and Murch Elementary Schools for making this event possible for our community.</p>
