Screen Printing 101: Basics Workshop

The School of Visual Philosophy is dedicated to improving art education and cultivating a professional, creative community by offering the highest level of instruction while integrating fine art with technology. We strive to respect and understand traditional practices while continually pushing the boundaries to improve and discover better methods of art education.

School of Visual Philosophy

This action packed one day workshop will introduce students to working with the art of Screen Printing. Students will gain knowledge in how to create stencils using paper and vinyl. Experienced printmaker Dana Harris Seeger will enable you to use those stencils to create beautiful screen prints! No experience required, and you get to take your screen home with you.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There is no age limit or minimum however, we ask that for children under 18, parents sign a release of liability waiver or take the class with their child for a fun experience! 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Visual Philosophy has a parking lot available to attendees in the rear of the building accessible via Julian St. HWY 280, 87 and Diridon Caltrain station are very close. 
What can I bring into the event?
Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and lunch as this is a fast paced, all day workshop. There is a cafe nearby which has a range of food and drink options as well. You can also bring a camera to take pictures and record the class for review later or posting to social media!

What's the refund policy?
 By purchasing a course or workshop, you are obligated to provide payment in full prior to the start date. Courses and workshops may be cancelled 5 days in advance with money returned. Course and workshop tuition purchased but not completed in full or by the start of course can not be refunded.
