TechChangers is a 501c3 focused on creating a diverse community of youth makers, technologists, leaders, and innovators by providing all students, especially underrepresented and socioeconomically challenged groups with opportunities to discover and foster their passion for STEM and computing.

Come celebrate GLOBAL Scratch Day on May 15th 2016 at Howard Community College. Howard County non profit, <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.hocobeyou.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Be You, Inc.</A> will be organizing this Community Coding Event bringing together <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://girlswhocode.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Girls Who Code</A>, <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://howgirlscode.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">How Girls Code</A> & <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.hocobeyou.com/beacoder" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">be.a.coder</A> to expose youth in grades K-12 to the fields of computer science & engineering. We will be celebrating <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://day.scratch.mit.edu" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Global Scratch Day</A> along with MIT and millions of others across the globe! Girls and boys of all ages are welcome to come enjoy an afternoon coding in Scratch and gaining exposure to the field of computer science. This is a FREE event and no experience is necessary. Light refreshments will also be served.
Information will be availble on <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.howgirlscode.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">How Girls Code</A> for girls in grades K-5, <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.hocobeyou.com/girls-who-code" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Girls Who Code</A> for girls in grades 6-12 and <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.hocobeyou.com/beacoder" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">be.a.coder</A> for boys and girls in grades 6-12. We will also have information on <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.hocobeyou.com/the-social-impact-club/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Social Impact Club </A>, which is using innovation and entrepreneurship to impact social change and will be planning the day's events.
