Scrape Painting 

The City of St. Helens and St. Helens School District have partnered to bring a Recreation Program to St. Helens. The program, which launches at the end of April with the publication of a summer recreation calendar, will provide a central location where community members can find a wide range of recreational activities that are available in St. Helens. For years, community members and local agencies have wanted to create a centralized program where people can more easily find and plug into the many recreational activities and groups that St. Helens citizens already enjoy. Both the City of St. Helens and St. Helens School District identify building a better community as one of their main agency goals and believe that a recreation program is one way to help support that goal.Please email Shanna Duggan at Shannad@ci.st-helens.or.us or call us at 503-397-6272, ext. 160 with any questions.

St. Helens Recreation Program

Scrape painting is an art process for color mixing! The paints are used to create a bold and colorful work of art with an amazing range of new colors. We will make three paintings and attach them to an art board to take home and display. All supplies and a snack will be provided. 
 
 
Ages 10 and up
Cost: $20 per person
 
 
Sign up online or in person at the City of St. Helens Water Department located at 275 Strand St., St. Helens, Oregon 97051.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
10 and up. Just need to be able to follow instructions.
 
What can I bring into the event?
Non-alcoholic drinks. 
We will have a snack halfway through the class. Snacks are provided as part of the registration fee.

No refunds; you can transfer the ticket.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a printed list.
 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Only transferrable to a different person for the same event.
 
Is it okay if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes.
