About this event
Set out on an unforgettable adventure with our Scout Programs! Dive into a 75-minute immersive experience for scouts to earn an exclusive Pasadena Humane patch. Engage in hands-on educational activities, enriching encounters, and meaningful service tasks. Our expert-led exploration allows groups of up to 25 scouts, accompanied by two adult chaperones, to uncover the care we provide to the diverse animals that pass through our shelter annually.
Your troop can choose:
- The Pasadena Humane experience, which is suitable for all ages within any troop, is where you will go on a tour and engage in a service project for shelter animals depending on shelter needs.
- The Tailored program meets scout patch requirements ranging from Brownies to Seniors. These tailored programs ensure an educational journey resonating deeply with each scout's level and interests.
Join us and let the curiosity of your troop ignite as they discover, learn, and earn a badge that signifies their dedication to animal welfare. It's more than a visit—it's an inspiring experience that fosters compassion and knowledge in young minds while supporting our mission to care for and protect our beloved animal companions.
Each date can accommodate one scout group of up to 25 scouts with two adult chaperones. The cost per session is $345.

Leaders should choose this experience if the troop is combined with different scout grade levels, if your troop is interested in learning more about our shelter, or if your troop wants to be of service to our shelter.
Leaders should choose the tailored program if all scouts in the troop are at the same grade level and looking for a program to help fulfill one of the following: Pet Badge(Brownies: 7-9), Animals Habitats(Juniors: 9-11), Animal Helpers (Cadettes: 11-13), or a Voice for Animals (Seniors: 13-15).
