The SQMDG provides delegates with support and shared learning to achieve and maintain accreditation to ISO 15189 standards. The group is led by a committee, representing a broad range of laboratory disciplines, from areas all across Scotland.
The SQMDG hosts a ‘discussion group’ in May and a ‘conference’ in November each year. The former encourages group discussions around 'hot topics' and current challenges, while the latter hosts presentations from industry experts, in their respective field of practice. Both events promote networking opportunities to share experience, provide support and drive continual improvement.
The May event this year will start with a panel of speakers, who will give Personal Experience accounts of ISO Transition Visits & Challenges followed by our traditional, discipline specific, ‘Breakout Group Sessions’. These sessions provide an opportunity to talk to people from different boards & at different stages of their ISO Transition journey.
