Scientific Machine Learning Symposium

UC San Diego - MICS

The symposium will bring together researchers and practitioners at the intersection of AI + science for discussion and sharing of ideas.

Great Hall, University of California San Diego

The symposium will be the launching event for the AI + Science event series, co-hosted by <a href="https://jacobsschool.ucsd.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jacobs School of Engineering</a> (JSOE) <a href="https://datascience.ucsd.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute</a> (HDSI) and <a href="https://scripps.ucsd.edu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Scripps Institution of Oceanography</a> (SIO) at UC San Diego. This first event will put a particular emphasis on AI &amp; physical sciences with contributions from physics, engineering, oceanography, and others. The event will also highlight research from climate science as a result of the DOE funded <a href="https://sites.google.com/view/disml/home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Deep Climate Extreme</a> project.
