Back by popular demand, we present: The Science Showdown part II – Return of the Beakers.
After last year's bout, the dust has settled and the Beakers are back to see their feud fought out again, this time with a bigger gun! They’ve been working on some powerful technology, currently being built in the Christie Hospital – what is it?
Come down to find out! Can you convince them that your science is the best science?
The Manchester Cancer Research Centre is hosting an Open-Mic Science Night - Thursday, 26th April at 6:30PM 
We welcome every passionate scientist to tell us why science is awesome - sign up to watch or speak & find out more!
All the willing speakers will be asked to give a short talk of exactly π minutes (yes, 3m 14s), with only 2 slides to talk about anything super interesting in science. This doesn’t have to be directly related to your own projects/work and props are always encouraged!
You asked, we provided – free pizza, drinks (inc beers & wine) and a prize for the victorious competitor!
Come and join us for a relaxed and fun science night at the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (Wilmslow Road M204QL, on the 42/142 bus route)
