Next up in our 2025 Science on Screen® film + lecture series is the classic film, "Twisters" (2024) and it's going to blow you away!
Join us on Thursday, April 24 at Connecticut State Community College at Housatonic for a special screening of the box office smash hit 2024 film "Twisters"—the iconic disaster film sequel directed by Lee Isaac Chung, following former storm chaser Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones) as she returns to Oklahoma to test a groundbreaking tornado tracking system amid a series of unprecedented tornado outbreaks.The evening kicks off at 5:30 PM in the performing arts center with complimentary bites and refreshments in the lobby, followed by a dynamic panel discussion on Nutrition and Fitness in Sports and Beyond at 6:00 PM. At 6:30 PM, settle in for the screening of the film.
