Join the "Science of Sailing" course to learn how to operate a sailboat and understand scientific principles safely. This five-day course covers topics such as the parts of a sailboat, wind strength and direction, flotation fundamentals, basic weather and tide influences, and water safety. Upon completion, students will be Certified Basic Sailboat/Able Seaman through the Lake Belton Yacht Club and have access to the club's boats and future races until they reach the age of 18.


Sessions are held at the Lake Belton Yacht Club.
