Gique is an educational nonprofit dedicated to inspiring & empowering youth through hands-on learning in science, tech, engineering, art & math (STEAM).

Gique's Science Can Dance program provides youth with a way to explore science, technology, and engineering through creative movement and dance choreography. Each workshop is led by local dancers who are also scientists and engineers, which provides a unique mentorship opportunity for students interested in both the arts + STEM. The event ends with a final dance performance where participants show off what science concepts they learned throughout the day and their new dance moves!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes. This event is for children ages 10-14
 
What are my parking options getting to the event?
There is a parking garage near the museum at 52 Oxford St. You can purchase a parking pass before you enter the garage at the museum admissions desk for $7. A license plate number is required. Families simply needing to drop off participants can use the circular driveway in front of the museum.

What can I bring to the event?
Children participating in workshopsp should wear loose fitted clothing and sneakers. Lunch will be provided during the event. You may want bring an extra bottle of water just in case.
Do parents have to stay the whole time?
Parents can either choose to drop-off and pick-up or stay the entire time of the event. Your choice!
