The need for LGBTQ+ affirming services in our communities is growing, but when it comes to supporting clients through everyday practices, policies, and procedures, many professionals aren’t sure where to begin! Join Dr. Shannon Theobold, MD from St. Luke's University Health Network and Mikaela Gavaletz, founder of Youth Empowerment & Support, Schuylkill County for a discussion about Transgender Basics and building safe space in our communities.
Please register ahead of time to ensure a proper count for food and materials. This workshop is especially targeted for medical professionals, human service providers, school staff, and first responders. General community members are invited to attend.
