School Days

Chalkbeat is a nonprofit news organization committed to covering one of America’s most important stories: the effort to improve schools for all children, especially those who have historically lacked access to a quality education.

Come join the education news organization, <A HREF="http://www.chalkbeat.org/detroit/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Chalkbeat Detroit</A>, and <A HREF="http://www.twistedtellers.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Secret Society of Storytellers</A><A HREF="http://www.twistedtellers.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ⓡ</A> as we present “School Days.” Four Detroiters will take the stage at the Charles H. Wright Museum to share their stories about Detroit Schools. We think you’ll leave inspired.
 
Doors (and cash bar) open at 7:00 p.m. Seating will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at 8:00 p.m. 
Tickets are general admission and will be available for pick up from Will Call on the night of the event. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Chastity Pratt Dawsey, a Cass Technical High School alumna and a veteran reporter at Bridge Magazine who credits much of her success to her education in Detroit.
