“School Chaplain”
Pastor Derek Fernandez (Kevin Trinio Perdido), the school chaplain at Ventura Seventh-Day Adventist Academy, guides his students, the seniors in his Religion 401 class, on an educational journey dealing with the challenges and joys of life’s ups and downs through his own experiences with adolescence, growing up in a strict, religious environment, wrestling with his own faith, and the difficult choices he's had to make in his life. Including the one he's making now.
Ps. This presentation is mainly to get the play on its feet for the first time. If you are able to stay afterwards, I would like to have a quick Q&A for feedback, burning questions, and further discussion regarding the play itself. I'm looking to take this to Edinburg Fringe in Scotland and numerous theatre festivals in the US as well.
