Scene Study - Story Questions Writing Workshop
2 hour Zoom online group writing workshop to help writers break down scenes while learning a framework for their own writing.
2 hour group writing workshop online through ZOOM.
Saturday October 11th from 12pm to 2:00pm PST
In this workshop we will break down various movie scenes. This is a guided analysis and breakdown of 8 essential components that make up a great scene.
We will watch several movie scenes and then get into the analysis, writing, and participation.
What's great is that you will not only be able to participate in the scene analysis but you will walk away with a framework that you can apply to your own stories.
This workshop is a deep dive into what makes scenes work. It's geared around giving you the practical tools you need to write a great scene.
**Please note that we will be working with existing movie scenes in this workshop. Also, this class works best for writers who are in the scene writing phase of their projects.
Benefits of this class...
-Supportive, inviting, warm, encouraging environment
- You will be given a framework that will help you work on scenes now and in the future.
- You will be given specific questions that will help you improve your scenes
Final notes:
-Must be 18 or older.
-Admission is $25.00
-Limited space available.
Hope to see you there!
Here is what writers have said about previous our classes…
“I am happy to have been a part of the class and am now seeing the pieces come together. Definitely recommending this class.” -- Stephanie B.
"The thoughtful design of the course, and content, helped me to look at my characters (and story) with a 360 lense. What I learned from the class was foundational in moving my manuscript forward with greater depth and purpose.” -- Joyce H.
