Scene Study Master Class
Overview

Great acting lives in the spaces between the words.

In this master class, we'll dig into the truth of a scene — the relationships, the stakes, the unspoken — and learn how to stop performing and start living in the moment. Come ready to take risks and leave with tools you'll use for life.

About the Instructor: Presilah Nuñez Davis is an actress and teaching artist based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Her career began at 19, stepping straight from high school into professional theater — an experience that gave her an enduring love for working with young performers at that same threshold. As a young actor, she was part of the pilot casts for Music Theater International's School Edition programs, including Honk!, Aida, Seussical, and Rent. She went on to be part of one of the original workshops of Hamilton and the national tour of In the Heights, before transitioning to television and spending a decade in Los Angeles. Her screen credits include The Resident, Designated Survivor, The Haves and the Have Nots, Hawaii Five-0, and NCIS: Los Angeles.

She loves teaching because of what drew her to acting in the first place: the writing, the relationships at play, and the electricity that happens when an actor stops just reading the lines and starts filling the page with themselves.

Thursday, April 30 from 6:30-8:30pm

Cost per participant: $30

Ages: High School and Adults

*Registration closes midnight on 3/28.
