Santa Clara City Library is bringing together Bay Area artists, comic book shops, enthusiast groups, makers, and authors to create a free event that will inspire literacy and creativity in our community. The library is hosting speakers and panels on topics such as costume creation, great graphic novels, and women in comics, and offering fun activities such as tabletop gaming, anime showings, a Gunpla build contest, and unique crafts for kids and adults. Our dedicated artist space will focus on sparking interest in the visual aspects of comics with a showcase of local artists and hands-on drawing workshops.
