Join Save Our Cemeteries on Sunday, June 30th at Lakelawn Metairie Cemetery for an all-day conference on everything cemeteries! Learn how to research your genealogy. Discover the influence the Irish have had on New Orleans’ cemeteries. Understand how to properly clean and preserve your tomb. Comprehend the true history of Jazz Funerals in New Orleans. Find out about two of our most famous Italian society tombs. And unearth the secrets of a New Orleans gravedigger.


Doors at 9:30AM. Light pastries will be available.

All lectures will be approximately 45 minutes, with 10 minutes for questions and a five-minute break.

Lunch is included.
