About this event

The Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District will continue the popular Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series with a special live performance featuring Amythyst Kiah. The Savannah Music Festival/District Live Series is a landmark partnership between the Savannah Music Festival and Plant Riverside District that is designed to expand year-round live music options for Savannah-area residents and visitors.

Amythyst Kiah is a Chattanooga-bred singer-songwriter with an artistic conception influenced by alt-rock, roots and old-time music. Her song “Black Myself” earned a GRAMMY Award nomination and won the Song of the Year Award from Folk Alliance International. The New York Times raves: “Her razor-sharp guitar picking alone guarantees her a place among masters, but it’s her deep-hued voice that can change on a dime from brushed steel to melted toffee that commands attention.”
