He has spent the last decade designing, building, and deploying precision forestry tools for some of the largest landowners in the US. Using satellites, cloud computing, and mobile technology, SilviaTerra collaborated with Microsoft to develop the first high-resolution forest inventory of the United States. This data is now informing markets for natural capital like carbon, wildlife habitat, and water quality. Born and raised in Louisville KY, Max earned a degree in Computer Science from Yale University.Dick Rocket is the Chief Visionary Officer and Founder of Orrery.ai, a satellite data stealth-mode startup. Prior to launching Orrery, Rocket founded and served for a decade as CEO for NewSpace Global (NSG), the world’s first information provider focused on the commercialization of space. Clients include or have included FedEx, McKinsey, Accel, Google Ventures, Facebook, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Planet, Spaceflight, Inc, Raymond James, Wharton, Harvard Business School, Cornell, Stanford University, the Japanese space agency (JAXA), the White House, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, the United Arab Emirates Space Agency and hundreds of other clients from all over the world. While running NSG, he was the leading expert on the privatization of space and a regular source for Fortune, Forbes, Bloomberg, Fox News, NBC, CNBC, The Financial Times and The San Francisco Chronicle. Rocket is a graduate of UC Berkeley Law School where he graduated with honors and served as an editor for the #1 ranked IP Law program in the world. Prior to launching and running NSG, Rocket worked as a private equity fund formation attorney in New York City and London for Blackstone’s trillion dollar fund. He is a proud father, avid reader and dedicated to curing his blood cancer in space.Marcus Tallhamn leads Spire&#x27;s Data and Infrastructure software groups, which automate the company&#x27;s distributed space systems and build data analytics products.
