Sapphic Speed Dating

Welcome to Sapphic Speed Dating for sapphics* ages 21-30 years old! This event is a fundraiser for our trans femme friend's gender-affirming care fund.

Join us for a fun and flirty evening at Gather 22 where you can meet other amazing sapphics. Whether you're looking for love, friendship, or just a good time, this event is perfect for connecting with like-minded individuals. Sapphic Speed Dating is open to both monogamous and non-monogamous sapphics. On the other hand, Sapphic Speed Dating is not a space for unicorn hunters** in any capacity. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make new connections and maybe even find that special someone. Get ready to mingle and have a great time!

This event is in collaboration with Sapphic Social Indy and Gather 22 and is sponsored by Indy Gay Market. In addition to the Sapphic Speed Dating event, there will be a Big Gay Market after-party from 6-10 PM at Gather 22.

We have discounted tickets for those wanting to support the cause and participate in the event but can not afford the extra five dollars. At its core, this event is a fundraiser with all proceeds going towards gender-affirming care. If you can afford the full-price ticket, please select the general admission ticket. There is also an add-on option for an additional five dollars if you feel called to donate more towards the cause.

As the event will be held at Gather 22, there will be food and drinks provided by the restaurant for purchase. While there will be both nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages being served, we encourage participants to consider their alcohol consumption when speed dating. Bringing in outside food and drink is prohibited. Please see the second header image as to where you can park.

Please bring your legal identification such as a passport, state ID, driver's permit, or driver's license so we can verify ages. A volunteer will check your ID at the door.

Our team has worked to make Sapphic Speed Dating a safe and inclusive space. We have included an intermission, an agenda, conversation starter cards, and a sensory space in case of overstimulation to accommodate neurodivergent sapphics. Gather 22 is ADA-accessible. There is a ramp in the back entrance of the building which will be the entrance for the event. The indoor bathrooms are both ADA-accessible. We prioritize consent by implementing consent monitors to provide support in case of a consent violation. We recognize that Gather 22 is on the land formerly occupied by the Myaamia people who were displaced like the rest of the Indigenous people across the nation.
