Santa Clara University - Faculty Homebuying Support, Info Session #1

The University has prioritized identifying innovative ways to help faculty members manage one of the biggest challenges they face outside of work – finding suitable housing in this expensive region.

Santa Clara University is offering a new shared equity down payment program, providing up to $120,000 in down payment support to buy a home. This program will provide homebuyers with upfront down payment support in exchange for sharing in the appreciation (or depreciation) of the home's value at sale or refinance. This new offering is not a loan, so it does not add to debt and there are no monthly payments. Bay Area company Landed Housing Solutions will help us manage this benefit along with the University's existing purchase assistance program.

Lunch will be provided and spouses are welcome to attend.
