Santa Clara County Youth Poet Laureate Commencement Ceremony 2024!

Please join us from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the School of Arts and Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza in San José. Esteemed guests include members of the acting poet laureate cohort '24-'25, Supervisor & Board President Susan Ellenberg delivering the keynote address, and the current Youth Poet Laureate, Thy Hope Luong!

Judges this year include: Andrea López and Santa Clara County Poets Laureate Emeriti Arlene Biala, Tshaka Campbell, Mighty Mike McGee and Janice Lobo Sapigao!

Readers this year include: Fred Jackson, Ellie Lopez, Nik Vik and Santa Clara County Youth Poet Laureate Thy Hope Luong.
