Is this a religious group?

This is an interfaith group centered on Yogic principles. Some chanting may be in Sanskrit or English, none to a particular deity. We may learn about various world religions and deities in our topical discussions, but always affirm that "Paths are many, Truth is one".

Do I need to know any yoga?

No prior experience is required. Come to Thursday's Meditations at 6pm to learn more about Yogic philosophy and concepts.

About this event

We will gather weekly to encourage each other to deepen our practices, and support each other on the path of spiritual growth.

Discussion topics may be led by various community members, every gathering will include time for tea and snacks, free movement, topical discussion, and sacred singing.

Tea is provided, please prepare to donate $5-$20 or bring a snack to share.

In this space we will be guided by Yogic teachings and the teachings of various spiritual traditions as we open a sacred wisdom circle. Wisdom circles are discussion groups where we speak from the heart, release judgement, and listen deeply to each other.
