About this event

With a shovel and pail in hand at the 41st Annual Sand Sculpture Contest, you’ll be sure to enjoy a beautiful summer day at Grand Haven City Beach! Visitors, residents, and businesses of the Grand Haven Area are invited to participate in the Sand Sculpture Contest, spectate from the sideline, and even cast a “people’s choice” vote! The contest will be held the day before Father’s Day on Saturday, June 15, 2024. This family-friendly event is a great way to kick off your summer along Lake Michigan while putting your sand sculpting skills to the test!

Is in-person or day-of registration available?

Yes, those wishing to register in person may register at the GHACVB information tent between 8:30-9am. T-shirt sales are only guarunteed to those who register in advance.

Am I required to purchase a T-shirt?

No! All t-shirt purchases are optional. T-shirt orders will close on June 1 and may be picked up between 8:30-9am on Saturday, June 15.
