“The Sand Gators are a psychedelic rhythm and blues band from Reno, NV. Formed in 2024, the outfit hit the ground running with the release of the Sacramento Kings-inspired instrumental album ‘Adelman’. They’ve since continued to drop singles showcasing their search for ‘a newer, more focused thing’ as lead singer Spencer Kilpatrick puts it. If the band’s live show is any indication, that search is leading them to high energy, fuzzed-out rock and roll with a uniquely soulful lilt.
