Sand and Sugar Sugar Cookie Decorating Class
Interested in learning more aout decorated sugar cookies?Curly B's is here to help! We will cover the basics to sugar cookies (so yes - it is beginner friendly), do some piping practice with royal icing, talk about how to strategize the best way to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concept around dough and icing! Everything you will need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor - Just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).
This month features a day at the beach - Just in time for summer vacation! Enjoy seashells, swimsuits and beach waves!
You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, credits and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us.
We provide everything you will need for cookies, icing, sprinkles and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each person gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles and all the necessary tools to knock this class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class - so no baking or icing mixing required!
Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family! We have seating for up to 9 people! Its a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member or solo.
This class is good for ages 12+, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add on kit (more on that below!) The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you a class powerpoint so you can teach them yourself!

Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some cookie facts, decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.
Yes! Many parents or practicing cookiers purchase additional class kits to take home and re-do the classes. You can purchase an add-on kit during check-out. Your kit will be available at the end of your class - so don't forget it!
Nope! No baking history required. We will have the cookies pre-made for you along with the icing already mixed and colored. Have a little decorating experience under your belt… er… apron? Come on too! I can help with questions on icing mixing and dough spread!
Nothing but a smile! Everything will be provided for you including my (rather tasty) sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing. Oh – and bring your phone – I love photos!
Our classes are for almost any age! Our in-person classes are great for any age; however, kiddos under 15 will need a parent taking the class as well. If you think your child may be too young to enjoy the in-person class, purchase an additional take-home kit and enjoy at home!
We ask that all parents also attend the classes with their children under 15. For children over 15, you can drop off your child to take the class and return to pick-up in 2 hours. Due to space restrictions, we do not have room for parents to stand by and watch their children in class.
By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24 - 48 hours in their own box. I’ll send you an Amazon link with a list of the tools we used in class so that you can recreate these cookies at home. And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!
You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a total of 9 seats per class, so definitely sign up ASAP!

:( We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 5 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Any cancelation after the 5 days will be a class credit redeemable for up to 3 months from the credit issued.
If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, I won’t be able to offer you a refund or a credit even if you're sick. So please reach out before class if you’re feeling sick!
