The Schuylkill Action Network's (SAN) mission is to improve water resources through collaborative action in the Schuylkill River Watershed. The SAN seeks to achieve this mission through collaborative actions in partnership with local watershed organizations, land conservation organizations, businesses, academics, water suppliers, recreational communities, local governments, and regional, state, and federal agencies. Action is our middle name, and it’s what makes the SAN a successful national model for source water protection, collaboration, and implementation.The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, which administers the SAN, is committed to providing equal access to information about its programs, including document translation services for all individuals. The <a href="http://schuylkillwaters.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Schuylkill Action Network</a> (SAN) is hosting the "Scrub and Pub" event as part of the Schuylkill Scrub and Keep PA Beautiful. Join us at 5:00pm at the Upper Merion Boat House Park to clean up along the shores of the Schuylkill River. Gloves, bags, and trash pickers will be provided!After getting our hands dirty, volunteers will head over to the Conshohocken Brewing Co. (Bridgeport) for a Happy Hour from 6:30-8:30pm. All volunteers will receive 1 free beer, and 20% of the remaining food and drink purchases will benefit the SAN.Please note: all happy hour attendees must also volunteer at the stream cleanup!Rain date: Thursday, May 23rd.
