MRSE Exercise - August 2nd from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM PT
The Tabletop Exercise (TTX) will be a strategic session focusing on discussions surrounding the exercise scenario, engaging participants in detailed dialogues about the response to a severe flooding event impacting healthcare facilities. This exercise serves as a precursor to the full-scale MRSE, allowing stakeholders to analyze and debate their planned actions, communication strategies, and interagency coordination in a controlled environment.
Following the TTX, the Medical Response and Surge Exercise (MRSE) will be a more practical, hands-on event where participants actively implement emergency response plans and activities discussed during the TTX. In this exercise, stakeholders will simulate real-time actions. The MRSE provides an opportunity to test the effectiveness of the strategies developed during the TTX, assess the operational readiness of the involved entities, and identify areas for improvement in actual practice.
