San Mateo County Asian Pacific Islander 2024 Heroes Dinner

Each year the SMC API Caucus honors local leaders within our community who have extraordinarily contributed their time, talent and leadership positions towards advancing equality, diversity, and defeating racism.

Also, the SMC API Caucus offers opportunities for year round internships in public offices. Interns are required to undergo a six week training course which introduces the intern to public services. Interns are taught important skills that go beyond performing at the highest level, thereby, are able to utilize those skills for future success in any career path they choose. Classes are taught by Mayors, elected officials, and experts in their field.
