About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Move San Mateo & San Mateo’s Age-Friendly Coalition are joining to organize a group bicycle ride along San Mateo’s bayshore trail.

We’re meeting April 27th Saturday morning, at the Seal Point Park parking lot.

We will split into 2 groups of bikers--one group to go on a longer ride south through Foster City, and another group to go on a shorter ride north towards Coyote Point.

Consider bringing:

  • A water bottle - that can be refilled up at drinking fountains along the shoreline
  • Warm clothes/layers - it is hard to know what the weather might look like

Ahead of embarking on the ride, we will share a bit more information about safely bicycling in San Mateo and some basic bicycle maintenance tips to ensure that everyone is well-prepared for a fun ride!

Straight Wheel Cycling will also be in attendance to help ensure your bike can get rolling comfortably! Bring your bicycle to their store location on El Camino (& 12th) for your bike maintenance needs.

This ride made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Peninsula Clean Energy and their E-Bikes for Everyone initiative.
