You are invited to our in-person Employer Orientation on May 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at SDSU Career Services, located in Student Services East of SDSU's main campus.

Whether you are a small business interested in learning how to hire your first intern or employee, an organization wanting to expand your brand awareness and explore your recruitment options, or a new representative of a large corporation interested in learning how Career Services works at San Diego State University, this Employer Orientation is for you!

Frequently asked questions

Is this a recruitment event?

This is NOT a recruitment event, rather, an event in which we cover the various recruitment services and opportunities available to employers who are interested in our students and alumni.

Where should I park on the day of the orientation?

Parking Structure 1 (level 3, 4 or 5) or Parking lot 2B. Pay for parking using paybyphone.com, the PayByPhone app, one of the pay stations, or by calling 800-515-7275. PayByPhone location numbers are 28501 for PS1 and 28502 for 2B.

What should I bring to this event?

We recommend that you bring a notebook or device to take notes during the session. There will be an online form that you may fill out during the presentation, but if you will not have access to a device during the session, please let us know so that we can accommodate you.

May I bring others with me?

Yes, you may bring other representatives from your organization with you to this event. Please make sure that you reserve the correct amount of spots in your Eventbrite submission.

Will food be provided?

Light refreshments will be provided at the orientation. If you have concerns about allergens, please let us know.
